Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By registering you represent that all information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

TalkReel has two account types: Seekers — users who browse expert profiles and purchase sessions — and Experts — users who publish profiles, upload video content, and offer paid sessions. You may hold only one account per email address.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at support@talkreel.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Session fees are set by individual Experts and displayed on their profile pages. All payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. By completing a purchase you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

TalkReel charges a platform service fee on each transaction. This fee is deducted before payouts are made to Experts. The applicable fee rate is displayed during the Expert onboarding flow and may be updated with 30 days' notice.

• All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated.
• Payments are charged immediately upon checkout completion.
• Experts receive payouts on a rolling schedule subject to Stripe Connect processing times.
• TalkReel is not responsible for currency conversion fees charged by your bank or card issuer.

Because TalkReel sessions involve the direct time and preparation of independent Experts, our refund policy is as follows:

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the confirmed session time are eligible for a full refund.
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the confirmed session time are not eligible for a refund.
• If a confirmed session does not take place due to the Expert's failure to appear, you are entitled to a full refund.
• Technical difficulties attributable to TalkReel infrastructure (e.g., video room unavailability) are eligible for a full refund or free rescheduling at our discretion.
• Disputes must be submitted within 7 days of the scheduled session date by emailing support@talkreel.ai.

Refunds, where approved, are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your card issuer.

Experts are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of TalkReel. By registering as an Expert you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your background, expertise, and qualifications.
• Not misrepresent credentials, certifications, or professional experience.
• Honour confirmed session bookings and appear on time.
• Conduct sessions in a professional manner free from harassment or discrimination.
• Ensure the advice or information you share does not constitute regulated professional services (legal, medical, financial) unless you hold the appropriate licences and clearly disclose them.
• Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

TalkReel reserves the right to remove Expert profiles, withhold payouts, or terminate accounts where these obligations are not met.

Users may upload video clips, profile information, and other content to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content you grant TalkReel a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display, distribute, and promote that content within the Service.

You agree not to post or transmit content that:

• Is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or threatening.
• Infringes any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• Contains malware, spam, or deceptive material.
• Promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity.
• Impersonates another person or entity.
• Solicits users to transact outside of the TalkReel platform.

We reserve the right to remove any User Content at our sole discretion and without prior notice. Repeat violations will result in permanent account termination.

TalkReel uses artificial intelligence to assist with expert discovery, session matching, and platform recommendations. AI-generated suggestions are provided for convenience only and do not constitute professional advice of any kind.

You acknowledge that AI outputs may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. TalkReel is not liable for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content. Experts remain solely responsible for the advice they give during sessions.

You may not use the Service to:

• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the platform.
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service without written permission.
• Use automated tools to create accounts, send messages, or interact with the platform.
• Resell, sublicence, or commercially exploit access to the Service.
• Conduct sessions involving illegal activity or the solicitation thereof.
• Record sessions without the explicit consent of all participants.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TALKREEL DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TALKREEL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO TALKREEL IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

TalkReel is a marketplace platform. We do not endorse any Expert, verify professional credentials unless expressly stated, or guarantee outcomes from any session.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@talkreel.ai. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without notice if we determine you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users or the platform.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including payment obligations, content licences, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation before either party may initiate formal legal proceedings.

YOU AND TALKREEL AGREE TO RESOLVE DISPUTES ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS PART OF A CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. IF THIS WAIVER IS FOUND UNENFORCEABLE, THE ENTIRETY OF THIS ARBITRATION CLAUSE IS NULL AND VOID.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above and, where the changes are material, notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
